At Acqua7 tradition meets the future. When we started out, there were no rules for fine drinking establishments in Dalston. So we created a style of our own using modern design principles in Architecture, as well as old knowledge and expertise in drinks.
Much of what we source is From italy. Our menu changes with the seasons. Although we have a focus on products from the area we have a strong focus on Italian organic, biodynamic, natural wines, and wine from sustainable producers.the cocktail menu offers classics as well as our inventive cocktail recipes.
Acqua7 is ever changing and always true to our belief in quality products – immaculate and pristine, carefully chosen, respectfully prepared, lovingly served.
Folklore has it that there was a drinking establishment in the late 1800's in the area owned by a Mr Ball which had a pond to its rear on which clients used to take pot shots at wild foul, a kind of drinking game.
Through time the pond gained notoriety giving rise to the name Balls Pond.
Acqua refers to water symbolising constant evolution and the lucky street number 7 bringing a space of the future in to harmony with its past.
